Instructions for Submitting Accepted Papers

Instructions for Preparing Papers for the Proceedings

This page contains instructions for submitting final camera-copy papers for IEEE LCN 2007 and the associated workshops. This is for authors with accepted papers. The camera copy paper submission deadline is July 23, 2007.

The IEEE Conference Publication Services (CPS) will be handling the collection of all camera-ready papers. All authors with an accepted paper should have received an email from the IEEE CPS that looks something like this. Please follow the instructions in this letter except for "STEP 4: Formatting your Paper". Please do not use the templates on the IEEE CPS website. Instead use the templates that you used for initial paper submission.

In other words, please format your final camera-copy submission using the guidelines provided in sample_manuscript.pdf. Instructions and templates for paper formatting are:

  • Template for Microsoft Word users is here
  • Template for LaTex users (Unix) is here (use "bare_conf.tex")
  • Template for LaTex users (Windows/Macintosh) is here (use "bare_conf.tex")

The page limit for regular (full) papers is 8 pages. Authors will be allowed to have up to 2 more pages at the rate of $100 per each additional page (that is, you pay $100 if the paper is 9 pages and pay $200 if the paper is 10 pages). For short papers the limit is 2 pages. Authors will be allowed to have only 1 additional page with $100 fee. The additional page(s) fee should be paid at the time of the registration. At least one author per each paper must register at the full rate in order for the paper to be included in the proceedings. The deadline for author's registration is July 23, 2007.

We apologize for any confusion with final paper submission. We look forward to meeting all authors at IEEE LCN 2007 in Dublin.

Instructions for Author Registration

Every paper accepted for LCN 2007 must have an associated registration at the full member or non-member rate. For a paper in which all authors are students, one student author must register at the full registration rate. For authors presenting multiple papers, one full registration is valid for up to three papers (that is, for the same author presenting three papers).

The authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their paper will be presented at the conference. At least one author of each accepted paper must be registered for the conference by the July 23, 2007 author registration deadline in order for that paper to appear in the proceedings and to be scheduled for presentation.
